As of January 2025, classes are £130.00 for the 6 week course.
My 1:1 rates are £60.00 per session. If booked alongside a term of classes, I offer a single 1:1 at £50.00, so the term fee and a 1:1 session would be £180.00.

6.30pm for Puppy Fundamentals.
The 7.30pm class has now moved to a Sunday mornings 10.30am as an outdoor class in a local park. This is for dogs beyond puppy/older dogs.

Most behavioral issues stem from a lack of good fundamental training in early life. I help you to teach your puppy or dog how to be calm at home or out socially and to respond to commands effectively. This is about building a positive relationship with your dog.

Tuesday evenings 6.30pm Puppy

Classes are based around the Kennel Clubs ‘Good Citizen Dogs’ Scheme
At Puppy level, you build the foundation skills necessary for a dogs life in your world. Socialisation is teaching your pup to Settle and to be calm in the presence of other dogs and people. You will develop a relationship with your dog based on clear communication. Other skills we look at are: the 3 body positions of Sit/Down and Stand using vocal commands and hand signals, Distance and duration of commands, loose lead walking to heel, recall, Vet check and Grooming.
We discuss as a group the law around dogs, your dogs needs and your responsibilities as a dog owner.

Sunday Mornings, Juvenile Class

Suitable for owners and dogs who have skills at Puppy level. Suitable for young dogs age 7 month upwards, including adult dogs.

Most of these lessons will take place outside in a local park on a sunday morning at 10.30am.
We work on issues such as Reactivity, Recall, Lead work, ignoring distractions and behavioural issues such as resolving aggression to other dogs.

I include level 1 & 2 Gundog skills and some agility equipment such as Tunnels and weaves.
We discuss the dogs’ needs and current issues for dog owners.
Praise and play are the main positive reinforcers. We start with food rewards but this is faded out as we go through the term.
Dogs in this class are best trained from the collar and a 4ft flat lead.
