One-to-One Dog Training
& Home Visits
Sometimes a group class isn't what you need.
Perhaps there's a particular behaviour you're struggling with.
One-to-one dog training sessions focus specifically on you, your dog and what's happening in your everyday environment.
Training built around your dog
Every dog is different. Their breed, age, history, environment and previous experiences can all influence their behaviour. That's why a one-to-one session starts with understanding what's actually happening rather than applying a generic solution.
One-to-one training may be appropriate for areas including:
Resolving reactivity towards other dogs, people or moving objects
Prey drives
Recall
Loose Lead walking
Puppy issues such as crating, toileting and food
1:1 Gundog Training
Ideally, you will have attended a group class with your puppy or rescue before seeking out 1:1 training on a particular behaviour.
Most classes cover aspects of behaviour your canine needs to develop and as an owner; you will acquire the skills needed to build a bridge of communication between you and your pet.
If you're unsure whether your particular issue is something I can help with, simply get in touch first.
Training where it matters
A major advantage of a home visit is that your puppy or dog will be in their normal environment. What happens on the inside will naturally occur outside. A Behaviour doesn't happen in isolation. Sometimes seemingly small things within a dog's routine or environment can contribute to a problem. Seeing that first-hand can be extremely useful.
